Abstract:
|
DataIntal is a system of trade statistical information on imports and exports from 30 countries of the Americas by country of origin and destination, volume and value according to the tariff nomenclature of each country (HS92 and HS96) and international classifications systems (SITC Rev. 3, ISIC Rev. 3, SITC Rev. 2 and UNCTAD) for the period 1996-2001. Countries included in the system are five from the Andean Community, five from the Central American Common Market, four from MERCOSUR, three from NAFTA, and Chile and Panama. Data from eleven countries of CARICOM is included for some years.

DataIntal 2.0 Trade statistics system for the Western Hemisphere on the Web is an online system of statistics on external trade of american countries. Free access to data up to 1999 inclusive. Allows queries similar to those on the CD-ROM, but only up to four digits in HS92 and HS96; two digits for SITC Rev 3 and ISIC Rev. 3 (for the years 1994-2000) and one digit for SITC Rev. 2 and UNCTAD (for the years 1980-2000). All queries can be exported to spreadsheets.
